The Parent Section is essentially a container for other Sections. It will list out all of it's child Sections in either one, two, or three columns, depending on the settings you choose.

Parent Sections are particularly useful for grouping Sections with related content together. For example, you may have a Download Section with PDF files all about your brand new Widget product. You may have a Photo Gallery with images of the new Widget. You may have an HTML Page with information about why you made the Widget. However, you may also have the same kind of Sections for another product you sell, the Gadget.

In this example, you would probably want your three Widget Sections grouped together under the Widget Parent Section, and your three Gadget Sections grouped together under the Gadget Parent Section.
