The FlipperSiteDeveloper™ is designed with Search Engines in mind. What good is having a great Web site if your customers can't find you? Flipper is a CMS that will help increase your search engine rankings. We have taken the time to incorporate a variety of SEO features that will help you increase your visibility in organic search results.
We use Google Sitemaps to inform Google's crawler about all your pages and to help people discover more of your web pages.
Many Content Management Systems will create page addresses with incomprehensible data in them. Your page URL might be something like:
Flipper, on the other hand, is careful to generate the friendliest possible URLs so that when someone searches for the data you have in a search engine, the engine can tell from your URL whether or not your page is relevant.
So, instead of the gibberish in the above example, Flipper will generate a URL like the following:
This helps the Search Engines immensely, and it will also help people understand what they are looking at.
In addition to it's dynamic URLs, Flipper allows the website Administrator to edit and modify the META Tags for each Section of your Flipper site. These tags are also critical to your Search Engine placement.
Flipper enables every site within it to have it's own unique robots.txt file to inform Search Engines of which pages and directories they should not be indexing.
Google and Yahoo SiteMaps
Both Google and Yahoo provide the ability to scan a specially formatted SiteMap, which lists every page that they should include in their Engine. Flipper can dynamically generate these specially formatted SiteMaps for you, making your relationship with Google and Yahoo much, much simpler.
Individual Sections can be added or removed from the SiteMaps at your discretion, or you may allow Flipper to automatically determine which pages to include. By default, any pages that are visible to the public in the automatically generated menu hierarchy will be included in the SiteMaps.
